SOELDEN (AUSTRIA) (ITALPRESS) – Alexander Steen Olsen won the first men’s World Cup giant slalom on theSoelden slope. The Norwegian finished with a total time of 2’09″50,followed by compatriot Henrik Kristoffersen who finished 65 hundredths behind the winner. Rounding out the all-Norwegian podium was Atle Lie Mcgrath at 66 hundredths. The best of the Italians was Alex Vinatzer, who finished fifth, behind Brazilian LucasPinheiro Braathen, 1″10 off. Tenth was Trentino’s Luca DeAliprandini (1″56). Nineteenth was Giovanni Borsotti (+2″04).
