PARMA (ITALPRESS) – An entertaining draw between Parma and Empoli, who do not go beyond a 1-1 draw. For Fabio Pecchia’s team it means a third consecutive draw, while for Roberto D’Aversa’s it means a return to points after two defeats in as many last matches. Coulibaly’s own goal in the first half was answered by Charpentier’s goal in the second half, with also a missed penalty by Bonny in the final game. Parma had the first chance of the match, with the offensive transition leading to Bonny’s right flat on which Vasquez was reactive in the dive. Playing surface not in perfect conditions, but both teams maintain a proactive attitude, and the proof is Empoli’s goal, which will come in the 35th minute: action on the right started by Colombo’s feed for Gyasi and continued with the service of the former Spezia in search of Fazzini, with the ball then deflected into his own goal by Coulibaly. Parma’s response would come in the final half, with the former of the day, Cancellieri, who from the right side of the box went to the middle and with a left-footed shot hit the crossbar. In the second half, Pecchia’s team started with a different pace, accelerated also by the changes, with Bonny again frightening Vasquez from the distance with a powerful right-footer parried, however, by the Empolese goalkeeper. It will be the same Vasquez, at 64′, who will defuse a free kick kicked well by Bernabè but taken out of the goal mirror just by the former Milan player. Empoli on the shields and Parma continued to press and attack, finding the equalizer ten minutes from the 90th minute, thanks to a low cross from the left by Valeri for Charpentier’s turn into the net. Parma’s turnaround turned into a possible chance for 2-1, with Almqvist knocked down in the box by Vasquez and good at earning the penalty kick, which, however, was then sent directly over the crossbar by Bonny.Equilibrium in the match remained precarious until the final whistle by La Penna, who after four minutes of recovery put an end to the Tardini challenge.
