MILAN (ITALPRESS) – From Nov. 7 to 10, Milano-Rho Fiera will host the 81st edition of the International Bicycle, Motorcycle and Accessory Exhibition (EICMA), the most important event in the industry that every year welcomes enthusiasts from all over the world, including many young people in love with two-wheelers and micro-mobility vehicles. And it is here that the young and dynamic public can admire the Fiat Topolino, the eclectic 100% electric vehicle devoted to sustainable urban mobility with a dash of Dolce Vita. Specifically, two examples, Topolino and Topolino Dolcevita, both branded with “Top Club” stickers, are on display at the Urban Mobility area of the Dueruote space (Hall 15, Stand Q04), while in the area outside the Fair it is possible to take test drives on board the new vehicle, which can be driven from 14 years of age, and which has gained leadership in the quadricycle market in the last four months. In addition, visitors who purchase Fiat Topolino at the show through the online process will benefit from a 500-euro discount.
EICMA 2024 is therefore the ideal event to present the new educational campaign “Top Club. At school for road safety with FIAT,” confirming the social relevance of the Italian brand, which for more than a century has pioneered democratic mobility by making technological innovation in the automotive field accessible to all. With the same approach and authority, FIAT is leading the transition to electric alongside its customers, with whom it shares values and information to create an aware and responsible community on this epochal transition. Sponsored by the Ministry of Environment and Energy Safety and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and in line with the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development, the new campaign “Top Club. At school for road safety with FIAT” is managed and developed in collaboration with NEWAYS, a communications and educational projects company, and aims to raise awareness among young people about the new electric mobility and the adoption of correct behaviors on the road, by whatever mode or means one moves: from bicycle to car, from scooter to microcar, and even on foot or by public transport.
The protagonist of the initiative is the Fiat Topolino, the eclectic 100% electric vehicle devoted to sustainable urban mobility, and the Dolce Vita, which has taken the lead in the quadricycle market in the last four months. Driveable from the age of 14, the new Mickey Mouse thus enters high schools for the 2024/2025 school year, involving 700 classes for a total of 17,000 students. The educational journey is made even more interesting by the tour of 20 stops in as many schools where, thanks also to the 20 local dealers, educational meetings will be held in classrooms and more than 1,800 test drives will take place in the courtyards of school sites, together with professional drivers from the Unione Nazionale Autoscuole e Studi di Consulenza Automobile (UNASCA).
“We are proud to participate for the second time in a row at EICMA, an international stage that allows us to engage with a young and passionate audience. FIAT has always been close to Italians with concrete and beneficial initiatives that make technological innovation for increasingly sustainable and responsible mobility accessible to all. With the educational campaign ‘Top Club. At school for road safety with Fiat Topolinò we take a step further as we directly address tomorrow’s drivers and their families on crucial issues such as the transition to electric and the importance of individual actions for their own and others’ safety on the road. We feel a strong responsibility to promote electrified driving that is increasingly accessible, easy in everyday life, and that makes the new generations fall in love, including through the sympathy that our little Mickey Mouse conveys. I thank all the partners of this extraordinary educational campaign for their commitment, confirming that only with teamwork can we change the status quo by opening the doors to a new era of sustainable, responsible and aware mobility,” says Giuseppe Galassi, Managing Director Fiat and Abarth in Italy.
With the new campaign “Top Club. At school for road safety with Fiat,” therefore, the Turin-based brand continues its mission to develop sustainable mobility for cities, where driving becomes a simple, sustainable and accessible experience for everyone. This goal is becoming a reality thanks to the new Fiat Topolino, which is enjoying great success in the market also thanks to its joyful and cool look, as well as being a clear tribute to the brand’s history and its ability to innovate with sympathy, ease and Italian beauty. Topolino is currently offered at a promotional price with state incentive starting at 7,544, the same as the closed or Dolcevita version. In addition, thanks also to state incentives, it is available with a solution, offered by Stellantis Financial Services, of 48-month leasing with a monthly fee starting at 29 euros, similar to the price of a monthly public transportation pass.
