A290 is the new entry model into the Alpine world, inaugurating the brand’s 100% electric Dream Garage, to be joined shortly by the sporty A390 fastback and the new A110. A290 encapsulates in a sporty hot hatch body the pleasant sensations experienced behind the wheel of the A110. Developed in perfect continuity with Alpine’s DNA, A290 is compact, agile, and able to offer excellent performance that is easy to enjoy while providing all the comfort in everyday driving. With the electric platform taken over by Ampere and charging services developed by Mobilize Power Solutions, such as V2L two-way charging, it offers an unparalleled experience. With an eye-catching design, top-notch technical features, comprehensive connectivity, and plenty of driving mode customization options, A290 is a true Alpine, but a next-generation one, designed to live in the electric age. And it was conceived to win over a new clientele of men and women who are performance-oriented and interested in design and style. Produced in the Douai plant at the ElectriCity Center, A290 has an electric motor itself made in France, in Clèon, while the battery will be produced in France from summer 2025. “Alpine A290 is the first model of the new electric generation that inaugurates our Dream Garage in the best possible way.
