MISANO ADRIATICO (ITALPRESS) – Francesco Bagnaia, riding the official Ducati, won the Sprint Race of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, held at the Misano circuit. With this success Pecco thus reduces the gap in the championship from Jorge Martin (Ducati Prima Pramac) to just four points. Just the Spaniard finishes in second place, after being overtaken by his rival with five laps to go. “Today I wanted to give 100 percent and I am happy to have succeeded. Mine and Martin’s race pace was incredible. We set times that were unthinkable two weeks ago. The start was not good and the recovery was tough, but in the end I shortened the gap on Martin,” Bagnaia said at the end of the race. Podium also for Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo), third. Instead, Marc Marquez (Ducati Gresini) closes fourth, while Pedro Acosta (Ktm GasGas) is fifth.
