ASSAGO (MILAN) (ITALPRESS) – The Nestlé Group in Italy has appointed Barbara Vita as Head of Marketing Italy&Malta and Anna Belardi as IT Business Relationship Manager and Digital Officer Italy&Malta. Both have assumed their new positions as of July and will join the Group’s Leadership Board. Barbara Vita has assumed the role of Head of Marketing Italy & Malta with responsibility for Media, Insights&Analytics, Consumer Experience, Marketing Excellence, Innovation Acceleration and Nutrition Health Wellness areas supporting all Nestlè categories. In Nestlè since 1996, she has a 20-year career within the Group behind her, also enriched by an international experience at HQ in Vevey, which allowed her to acquire a solid background in Marketing, Trade Marketing, Digital transformation and Consumer centricity, holding roles of increasing responsibility. In her new position, Barbara Vita will lead a team of about 25 professionals with the goal of driving the transformation of these areas towards more evolved marketing in order to strengthen the link with an increasingly demanding consumer in his choices. In this new organization Barbara will lead not only vertical expertise but also the development of capabilities for Nestlé’s young marketing talent. Barbara Vita holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Catholic University of Milan, a master’s degree in Distribution Management, and has two children. Anna Belardi has been appointed IT Business Relationship Manager and Digital Officer Italy&Malta. In Nestlé since 1998, she has developed significant skills in different areas such as Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales and Project Management, as well as in IT, which allowed her to acquire a solid and broad knowledge of the company and its processes. In her new position, Anna will lead the Italian market on a digital transformation journey by leveraging technology and data while ensuring continuous improvement in IT services and support, in line with company priorities. She will also complement the current Business Transformation team in the new function, thus leading a department of more than 50 people. Anna Belardi holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Bocconi University in Milan and has one child. Thanks to these two appointments, the Nestlè Group in Italy reaches 45 percent of women on the Functional Leadership Board, confirming its commitment to equal representation at all levels of the company and its constant attention to internal personnel selection and promotion policies, as well as an important work to raise awareness against the gender stereotypes that still penalize women in their careers.(ITALPRESS).
