Bmw unveils the F 450 GS concept

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Bmw Motorrad unveils the W Concept F 450 GS, almost ready to enter that offers a preview of a Bmw GS for the A2 license category and what a new model series between the Bmw G 310 and F 800/900 might look like. As in the Trophy version of the Bmw R 1300 GS, the blue, white and red color combination with the Racing Blue metallic base color represents not only performance and quality at the highest level, but also a very dynamic, off-road-oriented character. The Bmw Concept F 450 GS delivers on the promise of superior quality from a technical standpoint as well. The inline twin-cylinder engine was developed from scratch and, thanks to a special ignition offset never before used, is distinguished by its character and propensity to reach high revs. Compliant with A2 class, this engine delivers a full 48 hp and offers superior torque even at low revs. The engine’s extremely compact dimensions, excellent displacement-to-power ratio, and low weight are the result of innovative solutions and the use of lightweight materials, such as magnesium. In terms of the chassis, too, the Bmw Concept F 450 GS sets new standards in this segment through high-level technologies. Relevant features range from Bmw Motorrad’s ABS Pro (which depends on lean angle) to a high-performance braking system and freely configurable riding modes. With Bmw Connectivity on board and a 6.5-inch TFT display, the bike can be connected to smartphones and other accessories.
