COMO (ITALPRESS) – A genuine resurrection from the underworld to nab a very precious point. On the eve of their Champions League debut, Vincenzo Italiano’s Bologna came back and drew 2-2 with Como in the sign of Santiago Castro: goal and assist for the Argentine in half an hour of play (he came on in the second half). Cesc Fabregas switched to a 4-2-3-1, inserting Nico Paz and throwing in Audero, and the results showed. They push right from the start the Larians, on the day that brings Serie A back to the “Sinigaglia”, and they go through after just five minutes: triangle between Fadera and Cutrone, the former AC Milan player kicks and finds the unfortunate deflection of Casale. An own goal then triggers Como’s lead at 5′, with Bologna taking big risks, limiting itself to a couple of offensive bursts generated by Orsolini. The defense of the Felsinei is fragile, especially with Beukema, who suffers the insertions of rivals, and the hosts have a good game in high pressure and restarts. Strefezza and Cutrone trouble the Rossoblù, while Nico Paz paints soccer on the three-quarter: the former Real Madrid man serves a golden ball for the striker, bricked by Beukema, while a few moments later Dossena hits out just wide. Como continued to push, going close to the goal again with Cutrone and trembling only in the recovery: Piccinini initially awarded a (dubious) penalty, being then corrected by Var who changed it to a free kick from the limit.
Como holds and goes to the rest on 1-0, which pushes Italiano to change: inside Fabbian for a very tired Aebischer. Bologna tried to push, but was punished at 53′: assist from Strefezza and personal action by Cutrone, who skipped past Juan Miranda and beat Skorupski at the second post. A goal that was validated after six minutes, due to problems with the Var link, and that seemed to direct the match. Como began to restart effectively and came close to a trio with Strefezza and Fadera, while Bologna was in danger of sinking. Italiano then plays the certain Castro and Iling-Junior, who manage to wake up the guests with freshness and personality. The Rossoblù hit a post with Pobega, before the lucky 2-1: a rebound between Odgaard and Goldaniga propels Castro, who beats Audero from close range at 76′. Belotti clamorously wasted his tic-tac-toe, after skipping past Skorupski, while Bologna made no mistake: an assist by Castro and a shot on the turn by Iling-Junior for the final 2-2 at 91′. The game completely changed and, in the final, Bologna even tried to win it to no avail. Thus came a draw that satisfied neither team: Bologna rose to 3 points and Como to 2, seeing their first Serie A victory in twenty-one years slip away in extremis.
