ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Support the internationalization of the Italian research system and strengthen Italian participation in major European research programmes and international scientific cooperation initiatives. With this objective the Ministry of the University and Research has allocated 30 million euros in the Triennale Plan of Research 2026-2028.

“Fortunately wanted by the Minister of the University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, the Plan has introduced for the first time certain times for the bands, a single fund for financing and stable resources for universities and research institutions – explains the MUR in a note -. The appropriation supports European partnerships, funding research and development projects in the international sphere and thus strengthening Italian participation in European programmes. The initiatives will focus on the development and experimentation of innovative technologies, in line with the main priorities of the Union: digital and ICT, health and biotech, green transition, agri-food and bioeconomy, technological innovation and enabling technologies, with a focus on microelectronics and semiconductors”.

As part of the total allocation of 30 million euros, up to 21 million euros are destined to co-finance Italian participation in selected projects in European research programmes shared between the European Union and Member States (European partnerships).

Further resources are devoted to targeted interventions: €6 million for semiconductor projects, an increasingly strategic area for industrial and technological competitiveness, and €3 million for bilateral agreements, to support the implementation and strengthen the role of MUR in the Mattei Plan and cooperation with strategic areas such as Central Asia and Latin America.

The funding will be granted to projects exceeding the European or international ratings and complying with the requirements required. With this intervention, it rises to more than 409 million euros the total of resources activated this year from the MUR for the first year of the Triennial Plan of Research. The funding for the internationalisation of research is part of a broader programming that has already seen the publication of the PRIN 2026 bands, funded with more than 270 million euros and PRIN Hybrid with a budget of 59 million and that previews, by 30 April 2026, also the launch of the new Synergy Grant, dedicated to high innovative projects supported with 50 million euros.

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The La Sapienza University of Rome has promoted a day of study dedicated to Paolo Rossi, sixty years after his tragic death at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy. The initiative aims to offer a shared opportunity of reflection on a story that profoundly marked the history of the University and, more generally, the civil conscience of the country.

“The story of Paolo Rossi does not belong only to the past and remembering it here today in his university is not a formal exercise – says Rector Antonella Polimeni – Preserving its memory defines the way in which the Sapienza community chooses to recognize and act in the present, keeping together the differences without transforming them into distance and expressing a mature relationship with its own past. Memory is our responsibility because a mature community does not choose what to remember, but assumes its history in its entirety, with the bright and the most painful pages, also recognizing the moments when the institution was not up to. The memory is also our method and for this reason I want to thank those with their daily commitment, through research and archive documentation, have kept in our history also the story of Paul, a 19-year-old boy, a student of architecture, a scout, a committed young man, part of a generation who sought more democracy in the university and in the country”.

The day is divided into two moments that correspond to a twofold path: on the one hand, the historical and scientific study entrusted to the contribution of scholars and scholars, starting from the sources contained in the Historical Archive of Wisdom and the private archive of the Rossi family; on the other, the recognition of the value of public memory, through the voices of those who have known it and of those who, over the years, have kept its memory.

The activities began at 9.30 p.m., at the Aula Organi collegiali of the Palazzo del Rettorato, with the greetings of the Director Antonella Polimeni, who followed those of the Presidi Oreste Carpenzano of the Faculty of Architecture and Arianna Punzi of the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy. To open the speeches, Umberto Gentiloni, professor of contemporary history and scientific coordinator of the project, who offers new ideas of research on the figure of Paolo Rossi, on the historical context of his killing and on the meaning that this story continues to assume in the history of the university and Italian society.

In the afternoon, at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy, a round table is planned to remind Paolo Rossi through direct testimonies of the audience present in the classroom, starting from that of his sister Orietta. The initiative brings together historical research and public memory, bringing attention to a story that continues today to question the University on the issues of political violence and civil commitment.

The event is realized in collaboration with the Laboratory of Contemporary History and with the patronage of the Roman Institute for the history of Italy from fascism to the Resistance.

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Peses, the Educational Programme for Economic and Social Sciences of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart dedicated to the students and students of the high schools, is about to conclude the third year of life and reaches an important milestone: the first 400 lessons in secondary schools of second degree, involving as speakers personalities of the economic, legal, political, scientific and entrepreneurial panorama of the Country throughout the national territory, i.e covering all the Italian Regions. “Having reached 400 lessons, it means having met about 50,000 students, not a small number,” comments Carlo Cottarelli, professor of the Faculty of Banking, Financial and Insurance Sciences and director of the Observatory on Italian Public Accounts of the Catholic University, who designed and directed the Peses program. “The budget is great, there is great interest in this project by schools throughout Italy. So much so we can’t cover all the questions that come, so let’s give priority to schools that were not selected the previous year.” “The goal is to maintain a very high level of personality involved in the program,” adds Cottarelli. “This year’s news includes the presence of physics Fabiola Gianotti, former general manager of Cern in Geneva and first woman to guide him. With her, economists, jurists, politicians, Peses adds a new profile: that of scientists. But we also focus on the great entrepreneurs, such as Marco Tronchetti Provera, Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, Carlo Bonomi. They are people who struggle to find time, and we are very pleased that they can do it for our program.”.

“The strength of Peses is dialogue with students,” Professor Cottarelli continues. “This is not a simple visit to schools, but a direct contact between the student and the personality that is a guest. Each protagonist of the meeting, then, moulds it to his liking. Beppe Severgnini, for example, likes to ask a ping pong of questions and answers with students, I prefer to receive all the questions and then to deepen on the topics that interest more to those I have in front of”. “The other thing we have noticed is the appreciation of the teachers – continues Cottarelli –. We firmly believe that this program is useful to students and students, but it also serves to give confidence to their teachers. Because, in the end, seeing Mario Draghi entering a school in Terni also gives confidence to the teachers of that school. And in fact the messages we receive from the schools as a result of the meetings make us very pleased”. “What we are interested in is the contact between students and someone who has had an important experience – says Cottarelli –. Because the goal is not to cover a certain area, either the economy or the right. This programme first serves to inspire young people. And he does so by insisting on the need for dialogue with them. This year in the lessons that I hold I talk about globalization and potential geopolitical risks related to it, starting from the first chapter of my last book “Easy Economy. Simple answers to understand the world” (Solferino, 2026). I like to talk about things of great relevance, I noticed more spontaneity among students. So their questions are less prepared, almost always generated by current and very interesting themes.”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Council of Ministers, on a proposal from the Minister of the University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, approved the bill of reform of the National University Council (CUN). The measure redesigns the structure and functioning of the Council, introducing innovations aimed at making the organ more slender and effective in connection with the university system, in the meantime changed substantially compared to 2006.

Among the main novelties, the text provides for a review of the component of university professors and researchers, which passes from 42 to 28, representing the fourteen disciplinary areas identified by the ministerial decree of determination of scientific-disciplinary groups and updating of the relevant sectors. The student component, elected on a national basis in conjunction with the elections of the National Council of University Students (CNSU), and the representation of the technical-administrative staff will both consist of 3 units. The Minister’s advisory body is strengthened on an elective basis of the academic community. The President will be elected by the same members. Particular attention is paid to coordination with the other bodies of the university system.

To this end, participation in the sessions of the CUN, without voting rights, of the Presidents – or their delegates – of the Conference of Rectors of the Italian Universities (CRUI), of the National Council of University Students (CNSU), of the National Committee for the Evaluation of Research (CNVR), of the Conference of Public Directors General of the University Administrations (CNAMDAU) and of the National Council for Higher Education Artistic and Musical Consultations. Finally, the text states that the members of the CUN, appointed by decree of the Minister of the University and Research, remain in office for four years and cannot be elected for more than two consecutive mandates. The reform is part of a broader path of updating university governance, with the aim of making representative bodies more efficient, better integrated and more able to respond to the needs of a constantly evolving system.

Research is “a dimension that ignores borders, which is not separable from borders between States and which represents a vehicle of collaboration and peace. We have seen it during the Covid, but we see it constantly and it has always been so; also for this historical data it is important to fully support research in our country”. Thus the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, receiving to Quirinale Anna Maria Bernini, Minister of the University and Research, together with a delegation of the Presidents of the Research Offices.

“It is comforting to see that our young researchers who go elsewhere have success and are valued – he observes – but this does not impoverish our structure and our research fabric. For this reason, stability and certainties are an essential element to support research in our country, not for a bureaucratic aspiration but for a possibility to plan research that always needs time, perspectives, dates that are not close. This is why action is important to support, not only financially, but as instruments. As much as it can be, from this Palace there is the greatest support for this need and intense thanks to all of you”.

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – A school of integration of knowledge, valorisation of research and young researchers, educational offer of quality, internationalization and Plan Africa, fundraising inspired by identity and institutional principles: these are the five pillars of the Strategic Plan 2026 – 2028 of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart presented today, in the See of Rome of the University, by Rector Elena Beccalli.
.

The result of a participatory process that involved all the members of the university community, the Plan outlines design that, by creating impact, can leave the mark and fully integrate with teaching, research and third mission activities.

At the presentation, together with the Rector Elena Beccalli, S. E. Mons. Angelo Vincenzo Zani, Archivist and Librarian Emeritus of Santa Romana Chiesa.

“The new Strategic Plan of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart is first and foremost based on a participatory method, on the active collaboration of the entire university community, on the co-design and listening of the main interlocutors to write together the future of the University for the next three years,” Professor Beccalli began.

“Three addresses guiding our institutional mission – Beccalli continued – enhance the profile of non-profit Catholic universities; foster full integration between the educating community and research university; build a place of experience of knowledge and not only of transmission of knowledge. This means, for example, to activate innovative pedagogical proposals such as service learning, based on the involvement of the student community in active citizenship paths and social participation, or as peer mentorship, to help even on content, knowledge and skills.”.

The Strategic Plan 2026-2028 is divided into five pillars connected: “The first pillar – said Rector Beccalli – concerns the establishment of a school of knowledge integration to enhance the university’s interdisciplinary approach to addressing the great issues of our time from a transversal perspective, avoiding the risk of a fragmentation of skills.”.

“The second pillar is represented by the valorisation of research, research and researchers in order to make the research university profile even more incisive, promoting a favourable research environment capable of attracting and supporting young researchers and young researchers through incentives and awards.”.

“The third pillar is based on a quality training offer that enhances the experience of knowledge in physical and digital spaces, also through a renewal of content and teaching methodologies with particular attention to the tools of artificial intelligence and the development of paths in collaboration with the international digital platform FutureLearn for a training that embraces the entire span of profesional life.”.

The fourth pillar concerns internationalization with “the expansion of the global dimension through accreditation, attention to rankings and further dual degrees in addition to the 112 already active and, together with a more identity-oriented approach inspired by solidarity, aimed at continuing in the implementation of the Africa Plan”.

“The fifth pillar – the Rector concluded – is dedicated to fundraising activities, leveraging on identity and institutional principles with the idea of gift as reciprocity, strengthening relations with alumni and external interlocutors to support strategic design and ensure access to our courses to young people who are worthy but without means.”.

The new Strategic Plan of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart is the result of a shared process started nine months ago, characterized by 34 thematic workshops, which joined 665 community members, 1.711 responding to the online survey and 54 project proposals presented through the call for ideas.

“The initiative promoted by the Rector from the beginning of his mandate, and shared firmly by his collaborators and teachers, responds to an original and innovative design in the scenario of current academic institutions – said Mgr. Vincenzo Zani in his intervention -. In particular, it has the great value to mark identity, design and mission of the Catholic University in Italy and to place it in the international horizon”, through three fundamental elements. “The first – he continued – is the cultural and geo-political context that is the backdrop to the Strategic Plan. The choice desired by the Rector of tracing the Athenaeum towards the future, giving shape to the idea of better universities for the world, can not but refer to the roots themselves, to the DNA of this institution. And I like to point out that while the implementation of the Strategic Plan is under way, Rector Elena Beccalli has been elected a member of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (FIUC), commissioned by Gemelli, as well as president of its European section, namely the FUCE. This role of our Rector will undoubtedly help to further stimulate the international dimension, scientific research and academic quality of our University, as it is well underlined in the pillars of the Strategic Plan”.

“The second factor that makes the Strategic Plan peculiar is the method followed in its elaboration that covers a great human, cultural and academic value, in an extraordinary workshop of dialogue and exchange that has made everyone protagonists of a university community that questions and becomes aware of its great task to be carried out in a society in profound change. Another factor concerns the contents, distributed in the five pillars in which the Plan is divided, of which I would like to emphasize above all the school of integration of knowledge and the valorization of research”. The school of integration of knowledge, in particular, must have “as a vital goal to reform thought by coordinating cultures and separate knowledge. Interdisciplinaryity is insufficient to remedy superspecialization.” “In this sense, the first two pillars, the integration of knowledge and the quality of research, are a significant bet, the true added value that the Catholic University with courage proposes in the panorama of academic studies today.”.

The story of the process that led to the drafting and sharing of this document was entrusted to Isabella Di Chio, Journalist Rai, TgR Lazio, who compared with two members of the university community, Professor Tiziana Bove, Ordinary of Anestesiology, Dr. Laura Motta of the Office of Research of the See, and students Antonio Pio of Nuzzo (Baberian Medicine and surgery Faculty of Medicine and surgery).

The Ministry of University and Research has published the call PRIN Hybrid 2026, the new financing line provided by the three-year Research Plan. Strongly wanted by the Minister of the University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, the Plan has introduced for the first time certain times for the bands, a single fund to finance them and stable resources for universities and research institutions. The PRIN Hybrid 2026 call for EUR 56.6 million to finance three-year projects expressing multidisciplinary and dialogue between scientific, technological and humanistic, social and artistic knowledge on the themes of new technologies. In fact, the projects will have to be measured on one of the following topics as part of the Macrosettori defined by the European Research Council (ERC): quantum technologies, high performance computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, technologies and innovative healthcare routes. Proposals will also have to involve at least two of the three ERC macrosectors (sciences of life, physical sciences and engineering, social and humanities sciences), including the social and humanities sciences. This requirement also applies to those responsible for the individual operational units of the research group.

The PRIN Hybrid, such as the PRIN 2026 notice that preceded it, also finances projects that, by complexity and nature, require collaboration between multiple research units – in numbers between four and six – belonging to universities, institutions or different institutions, thus promoting the circulation of skills. A loan of EUR 1.2 million to 1.7 million is provided for each project. A 15% share of the total budget is reserved for projects submitted by researchers under 40 years of publication of the call. Derogations are also provided at age limits in case of maternity or paternity leave and long-term diseases, in line with European standards. Finally, a maximum limit of 30% of the total budget is envisaged for each theme line and a minimum of 10% inderogable, in concrete terms will depend on which and how many applications will arrive. Researchers from universities, research bodies and AFAM institutions may participate who have not applied to PRIN 2026. Applications may be submitted from 15.00 on 20 April to 15.00 on 4 June 2026. The PRIN Hybrid follows the publication of the PRIN 2026 call and, by 30 April 2026, the release of the Synergy Grant, a new tool dedicated to financing highly innovative research projects.

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The fourth Evaluation of Research Quality (VQR) was completed by ANVUR (National Agency for Evaluation of the University System and Research), referred to the five-year 2020-2024 and concerning the evaluation of the results of scientific production, the activities of Valorization of international knowledge and competitive projects. For the first time, in an experimental and limited way to research bodies, research infrastructures were also assessed. The evaluation of the VQR began with the publication of the Bando in October 2023 and ended in March 2026, with the transmission of results to the MUR.
The objectives of the Research Evaluation The main objective of the VQR is to provide the Ministry of University and Research with the data necessary for the distribution of the award-winning share of the Ordinary Fund (FFO).
“The VQR is a tool aimed at achieving specific strategic objectives for the research system. First, it aims to strengthen quality and participation, promoting the excellence of national research, encouraging the involvement of researchers and supporting more effective processes of recruitment and career progression, says Professor Alessandra Celletti, member of the ANVUR Governing Council and referent for Research Evaluation activities. A further objective is to consolidate collaboration and social impact through greater integration between research, business, institutions, school and civil society, in order to maximise economic and social benefits. The VQR also intends to contribute to the improvement of training, with particular attention to the quality of the doctorate. In this perspective, internationalisation and access to competitive funding are also strategic aspects, with the aim of increasing the visibility of the Italian system and participation in European and international programmes. Finally, the VQR promotes the efficiency and enhancement of infrastructures, promoting the full use of available research resources at national level”.
The scientific publications evaluated (articles, monographs, volume contributions etc.) were 199,816 compared to the approximately 182,000 presented in the previous VQR referred to the 2015-2019 period; accredited researchers were more than 75,800. The number of universities that have been evaluated has also increased, climbed to 100 (the 2 that have been added to the previous year are CASD and the Southern Higher School), while the research agencies have decreased, 13 in total (in the current VQR the ASI was not evaluated), and the institutions that voluntarily submitted to the evaluation, went down to 19 (3 in less). The works were divided between 19 Groups of Experts of Evaluation (GEV), consisting of 719 disciplinary experts and 37 interdisciplinary experts from Italian and foreign institutions; in the evaluation, more than 6,740 external auditors were also involved, both Italian and foreign. These figures are sufficient to give an idea of the relevant coordination effort supported by ANVUR, which involved, in addition to officials and members of the Governing Council, a total of 27 GEV assistants selected through a specific procedure.
The results must be analyzed and read as a whole, so as to return a general picture of the research currently carried out in our country. In particular, the indicators provided by ANVUR must be interpreted with caution. It is first of all necessary to compare homogeneous sets (e.g. for scientific area and size); moreover, it is recommended to combine the indicators, so as to grasp the multidimensional nature and obtain a representation the piaccurate research quality can be measured.
“The analysis of the results as a whole allows to draw some conclusions that apply to the whole of the Italian research system – says Professor Celletti -. From the analysis of indicators it is confirmed that, as already in the previous VQR, on average neo-absorbent or promoted researchers have given a number of per capita products (2,7) greater than that of stable researchers (2,1), among other things with a higher average quality».
In VQR 2020-2024, case studies were also evaluated on the activities of Knowledge Valorization, i.e. the whole of the initiatives with which the Institutions collaborate and interact with the territorial contexts and society, in a complementary manner to the other two traditional missions of teaching and research. Each Institution has been called to present one or more cases of study, depending on its size, choosing from 5 themes: Technology transfer, Production and management of public goods, Public Engagement, Life and Health Sciences and, finally, Environmental Sustainability, inclusion and contrast to inequalities with particular reference to UN Agenda 2030. In VQR 2020-2024, the impact of these case studies has been assessed, in particular, as the ability to generate changes or improvements in the economic, social, cultural, health and environmental sectors.
“The evaluation of the activities of valorisation of knowledge – says Marco Malgarini, Managing Area Evaluation of Research of ANVUR – represents a significant indicator of the degree of openness of the Institutions, understood as places of connection between research and society. Thus the Institutions play an increasingly active role in the territorial contexts, making available to the community the patrimony of skills and knowledge that they produce and preserve”.
The evaluation of the activities of valorisation of knowledge has evidenced a widespread commitment of the institutions, articulated in a broad spectrum of initiatives and areas of intervention. The introduction of international competitive projects in the evaluation has allowed the analysis to be integrated even on a dimension that is not considered today, which is of fundamental importance for the competitiveness of Italian research. The experimental exercise on EPR research infrastructure has also allowed us to check with positive results methodologies and evaluation criteria, laying the foundations for their more systematic application in future currency cycles. As a whole, these evidences help to outline an evolving research system, increasingly oriented to quality, impact and international projection.
“Today the aggregated results at the level of institution have been published, waiting for the diffusion of the results for Area, which will be held on the occasion of the event dedicated to the Final Report and the Reports of Area, scheduled for the next 28 May. This appointment – concluded Malgarini – will also constitute a moment of deepening and reflection”.

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “The dialogue is always useful when it serves to strengthen the quality, transparency and effectiveness of the university system. This is why I welcome the invitation of the oppositions to open a debate on recruitment reform. We will shortly organize a structured meeting: the Italian university system is a common heritage and every intervention must be built with attention and responsibility”. The Minister of the University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, said this in a note on the reform of university recruitment. “The reform of the National Scientific Abilitation is part of a broader path of strengthening the system. In recent years we have significantly increased the funds allocated to the right to study with the increase in the number of scholarships and the audience of beneficiaries, to the universities as certified also by the Conference of Rectors in the opinion on the last Ordinary Fund of financing, which has reached the record figure of 9,4 billion and strengthened the resources for research with the three-year Plan, which introduces the ‘warning of bands’ to guarantee stability and certainty in the procedures. These interventions are accompanied by a concrete growth of the teaching staff, increased by 20.9% between 2018 and 2025, with a structural strengthening of the role of ordinary and associated professors. The aim of the Ministry is clear: making recruitment more effective, enhancing merit and offering greater opportunities for young researchers.”.

OPPOSIZIONI UNITE “BERNINI RIAPRA CONFRONTO SU CONTRORIFORMA CONCORSI”

“The will of the majority of government to proceed to a radical counter-reform of university recruitment procedures without any real comparison with the objections raised not only by opposition forces, but by a vast audience of experts, associations and scientific societies, is wrong and irresponsible. The public university system cannot be earthquaked, already flawed by the drastic cut of resources in real terms with respect to inflation and GDP, with an intervention that completely abolishes national scientific empowerment, delivers unlimited power to local competitions and creates a chaotic and safe passage phase, particularly penalizing for early young researchers.” So in a joint note Alfredo D’Actorre (PD), Antonio Caso (M5S), Elisabetta Piccolotti (AVS) and Davide Faraone (IV).

“We do not ask to introduce now the national competition, which is the prospective proposal on which the opposition forces converge, but at least not to eliminate any national form of verification on the quality of the scientific work of the candidates, slipping towards a total localization of the university competitions, with very serious effects for the transparency and effectiveness of the recruitment procedures – continue -. For this reason, at the time when the examination of such a measure loaded with problems and contraindications distributed in the Commission to the House, we appeal to the Minister Bernini and the majority forces to reopen a true confrontation, after this possibility was denied to the Senate. The Italian university system deserves new attention in terms of strategic investments and resources, not a counter-reform set of rush and fury at the end of the legislature and destined, in the absence of any sharing, to last very little”.

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Not a document, but a shared process started nine months ago, characterized by 34 thematic workshops, which joined 665 community members, 1.711 respondents to the online survey and 54 project proposals presented through the call for ideas.
This is the path at the base of the Strategic Plan 2026-2028 of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan, presented by Rector Elena Beccalli. “We have new design lines ranging from the School of Knowledge Integration to Lifelong Learning in collaboration with a primary international digital platform,” explains Beccalli. “Even the method – added – is original and distinctive: it is not usual for a Strategic Plan to set such a participatory method, founded on the active collaboration of the entire university community, on co-design and listening to the main interlocutors and write together the future of the University for the next three years.”
The strategic plan “is not a bureaucratic fulfillment. It is an initiative, that is, it declares responsibility and determination to cope and guide the life of the university.”
Illustrating the vision, the Rector identifies the “three addresses that guide our institutional mission: to enhance the profile of Catholic non-profit university; to foster a full integration between the dimension of educating community and that of research university; to build a place of experience of knowledge and not only of transmission of knowledge. This means, for example, to activate innovative pedagogical proposals such as service learning, based on the involvement of the student community in active citizenship paths and social participation, or as peer mentorship, to help even on content, knowledge and skills.”
The Strategic Plan 2026-2028 is divided into five pillars connected. “The first pillar – says Beccalli – concerns the establishment of a school of knowledge integration, able to enhance the interdisciplinaryity of the University in addressing the great issues of our time starting from a transversal perspective, avoiding the risk of a fragmentation of skills.” The second pillar is represented by the valorisation of research, research and researchers, “with the aim of making the research university profile even more incisive. It is intended, that is, to promote a favorable research environment capable of attracting and supporting young researchers and young researchers through incentives and awards”.
The third pillar rests on “a quality training offer that enhances the experience of knowledge in physical and digital spaces, for a full development of the educational community. This also through a renewal of content and teaching methodologies with particular attention to the tools of artificial intelligence and the development of paths in collaboration with the international digital platform FutureLearn for a training that embraces the entire arc of professional life”.
The fourth pillar draws on internationalization and moves along two directions. “On the one hand, the expansion of the global dimension through accreditations, attention to rankings and further dual degrees in addition to the 112 already active; on the other, a more identity-oriented orientation inspired by solidarity, aimed at continuing in the implementation of the Africa Plan”.
Finally, the fifth pillar is dedicated to fundraising activities “by leveraging on identity and institutional principles, guided by the idea of gift as reciprocity. The aim, therefore, goes beyond the collection of resources and embraces the strengthening of relations with pupils and external interlocutors to support strategic planning and ensure access to our courses to young people who are worthy but without means”.
According to the President of the Toniolo Institute, the Archbishop of Milan Mario Delpini, “with the strategic plan the University Cactyl reproposes itself as an expression of a Catholic presence that practices the autonomy of research and together expresses with gratitude the belonging to the Italian Catholic Church and to the international community”.
To tell how the university becomes a place of experience of knowledge and was the artistic director of Radio Deejay Linus, who in front of the audience of teachers, administrative staff and students, compared with three members of the university community: Margherita Lanz, professor of Applied Psychological Research Methodology, Jolie Casalini, student of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences, Maddalena Baitieri, Research Office.
