ROME (ITALPRESS) – Renault unveils details of the exterior design of the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric in anticipation of the reveal on Oct. 14 at the Paris Motor Show. Renault 4 of 1961 revolutionized the automotive market and then established itself as an icon. It was the first Renault family vehicle with a front-mounted engine and no transmission tunnel, hence the flat floorpan. It became the quintessential car, spacious and resourceful, for driving around town and out of town, on weekdays and weekends, to be used for work and vacations. It was a car fit for its time and place, fitting perfectly into a changing society, and it was an instant success: it became the car everyone wanted in more than 100 countries, and Renault went on to produce more than 8 million Renault 4s. Renault 4 E-Tech Electric remains true to this concept of versatility. And, just like her, it is in step with the times: 100% electric and super technological, it wins you over immediately. At 4.14 meters long, it is the ideal companion to the 3.92-meter-long Renault 5 in the B-segment. It uses the same AmpR Small platform, which boasts a base designed to offer best-in-class interior space as well as uncompromising agility and comfort. Renault 4 E-Tech 100% Elctric will be produced in France, in Maubeuge, and will be available at dealerships in 2025.Renault has unveiled some exterior design shots, which capture the charisma and the clever mix of class and practicality, before the official reveal scheduled for the Paris Motor Show on October 14.
