ROME (ITALPRESS) – The Italian Taekwondo Federation (FITA) stands out again on the international scene, achieving an important milestone: it was ranked third worldwide among National Member Associations (MNAs) that are part of World Taekwondo. This prestigious result was achieved thanks to an in-depth analysis that evaluated five key parameters: Governance, Participation, Performance, Events and Sustainability. The analysis, conducted to establish excellence among World Taekwondo member federations, highlighted FITA’s strength and commitment in each of these areas. The Italian federation distinguished itself not only at the world level, where it was surpassed only by the U.S. and South Korea, but also achieved first place as a European national sports federation, consolidating its position as a continental leader. This recognition is not only a confirmation of the excellent work done by the Italian federation, but also represents a motivation to continue to promote Taekwondo at the national and international level. Fita President Angelo Cito expressed great satisfaction with the result, stressing the importance of continuing to innovate and improve, in order to keep the federation among the best in the world.- photo Fita -(ITALPRESS).
