MILAN (ITALPRESS) – A decidedly more relaxed Paulo Fonseca appeared in a press conference today, on the eve of the league match against Cagliari, an away game that follows the fine Champions League success against Real Madrid. “It will be a completely different match tomorrow,” the Milan coach explained, pointing out that “Leao will be a starter” and that instead of the unavailable Morata, 16-year-old Francesco Camarda will play from the first minute. “It’s important to confirm the good things seen in the Champions League and play with the same spirit and courage. We will have to have the right attitude though to win in Sardinia. All games are important. We have to get back focused on the league and do the right things to get a good result,” Fonseca said. “Morata had a clash with Pavlovic: he is okay, but he is not ready to play tomorrow. Leao will be on the field from the first minute. He had a good game against Real. I said he could do even better and make some better choices. We all have to understand that in Cagliari it will be a totally different game for Rafa, with individual marking, without the space he had in Madrid. I expect Rafa to be able to confirm himself at the same level seen in the Champions League,” the Portuguese coach further explained. Finally, the surprise news: “Tomorrow Camarda will play, who has great qualities. He works every day well with us. In the club we believe so much in him. I have total confidence in him. Age does not matter. Morata at this moment has a very specific role: he is not always a striker, but many times he is a player who unblocks passing lines. I think Camarda right now is more ready than Abraham to do this role. And I have to say that Abraham is not at his best. Jovic? He is inside the project. The problem is that he is not well physically. He will not be with us tomorrow.”- photo Ipa Agency -(ITALPRESS).
