ROME (ITALPRESS) – Following his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, U.S. President Joe Biden, accompanied by first lady Jill Biden, on Wednesday evening chose to dine at the well-known Italian restaurant Sistina, located on New York’s Upper East Side and owned by chef Giuseppe Bruno. An institution on the New York dining scene for more than 40 years, Sistina is known for its authentic Italian cuisine of the highest quality. This was President Biden’s first visit to the restaurant, while his wife had already enjoyed Chef Bruno’s dishes last May. During dinner, Jill Biden suggested that her husband try the spaghetti al pomodoro, one of the first lady’s favorite dishes. The president ended the evening with a taste of chocolate and vanilla ice cream, which he particularly enjoyed. Giuseppe Bruno welcomed his distinguished guests with pride and gratitude, while maintaining his philosophy of simple, genuine, high-quality cuisine, which has made him one of New York’s most popular restaurateurs.
