Gp Emilia-Romagna, Bagnaia “Misano 2 more competitive”

MISANO ADRIATICO (ITALPRESS) – “I will try to do everything to bring home the victory. It’s my 100th grand prix and, in case of first place, for Ducati will also come the 100th success in MotoGP. We already know the setup and which tires to use, but the competitiveness will be greater than last time.” These were the words of Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo), during the riders’ press conference of the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna, at the Misano circuit. “Already two weeks ago here in Misano I tried to win, but I did not succeed in either the Sprint or the long race. First Martin, then Marquez were too fast for me. In the long race, however, when I saw Martin come back I realized that I could score several points.” The world champion rider continued, “Now between me and Martin there is a seven-point gap. Our experience gives us the right motivation and the ability to withstand the pressure. The championship will certainly be decided in Valencia. Compared to last year, I feel physically better prepared.” Finally, Bagnaia commented on the booing directed at Marquez two weeks ago in Misano: “Haters will always be there. Situations of this kind do not happen only in Italy. I too was booed in Barcelona. It’s really a lack of respect, because we riders always give our best on the track. I wish our sport was cleaner.”- Photo Ipa Agency -(ITALPRESS)
