ROME (ITALPRESS) – The provisional calendar for the 2025 MotoGP championship: 22 Grand Prix in 18 countries, will return to racing in Brno, Czech Republic, and, for the first time, in Balaton Park, Hungary.Four events away from Europe in the opening, as many in the final part. Thus 2025 will be marked by a fair balance and pace for drivers, teams and paddock personnel as well. After pre-season testing in Sepang and Buriram, things will begin in earnest with the Grand Prix of Thailand, which will bring Southeast Asia back to the opening round after 25 years, on the weekend of Feb. 28-March 2. This will be followed by Termas de Rio Hondo, in Argentina, and Austin, in the United States. The circus will then move to Lusail, Qatar, before landing in Europe with Jerez, Spain, preceding Le Mans, France, where a new all-time record crowd is expected. Then the British and Aragon GPs.The second half of June will see racing at Mugello (June 20-22), then Assen to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Dutch circuit. Then off to Sachsenring, Germany, and then to Brno, Czech Republic, before the summer break. The resumption will involve the Red Bull Ring circuit for the Austrian GP, followed by the debut at Balaton Park,in Hungary. This will be followed by Barcelona and Misano, with the San Marino GP (Sept. 12-14). The paddock will then prepare to return away from Europe, heading to Asia: first Motegi, Japan, then Indonesia. A weekend of rest will allow everyone to recharge ahead of the trip to Australia, in Phillip Island. A week later it will be raced in Sepang, Malaysia. In November the grand finale with the GP of Portugal, in Portimao, the classic ‘down the curtain’ in Valencia.
