Inter-Juventus show at San Siro, ends 4-4

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – In the post-match of the ninth day of Serie A, Inter and Juventus draw with a bombastic 4-4. A spectacular and entertaining match was staged at San Siro, but it was certainly less appreciated by tactics lovers, considering the various smears and imperfections of the two teams. For Inter scored two goals Zielinski on a penalty, Mkhitaryan and Dumfries: the Juventus scorers, on the other hand, were Vlahovic, Weah and Yildiz twice. There is not a moment’s rest in the first half, and there are as many as five total goals. On 14′ Guida awarded the first penalty of the evening, following Danilo’s late entry on Thuram: from the penalty spot, Zielinski scored in his first as a starter. Juve, however, did not let it get them down and reacted immediately, taking advantage of the excessive static nature of the Inter rearguard. Five minutes later, on a Cabal’s throw, McKennie makes the save for Vlahovic, who is cold to make it 1-1 from two steps. The Bianconeri then took the lead, thanks to Weah, who capitalized on Conceicao’s great assist wide open. Woe betide, however, to think that this was the end of it: at 35′ it was Mkhitaryan who evened the score with a beautiful left-footed shot into the corner. Two minutes later Kalulu decided to negatively emulate Danilo’s earlier impetuosity: this time, it was Dumfries who was fouled. Again Zielinski brings Inter to 3-2 and seals his personal double. The second half saw a more tired Juve and more overwhelmed in individual duels. Inzaghi’s boys, however, re-entered the field with more nastiness. At 53′, on the development of a corner, Dumfries in a scrum sealed the 4-2: a few minutes earlier the Dutchman had already gobbled up a possible goal. In the following minutes it took a super Di Gregorio to prevent the Nerazzurri from ramping up. The Bianconeri seemed doomed to defeat, until Yildiz rose from the bench. Once he took over, the Turk restored Juve’s vigor and dangerousness, sensationally retaking Inter with a brace. Yildiz first shortened the score at 71′, capitalizing on a beautiful counterattack action: then at 82′ he scored the final 4-4 on a cross from an untamed Conceicao. In the final neither team finds a further goal and this tie takes on a different flavor for the two teams. A surely disappointed Inter returns home with a point after dominating for long stretches of the second half: Juve, on the other hand, can enjoy a precious point, the result of a great team reaction.- Photo Ipa Agency -(ITALPRESS).
