LECCE (ITALPRESS) – In the match that closes Saturday’s fifth day of Serie A Lecce and Parma draw 2-2 after a heart-stopping finale. The Salentini seemed to have the three points in their grasp, thanks to goals by Dorgu and Krstovic, but in the recovery Lecce fell asleep and conceded goals by Almqvist and Hainaut. A draw, however, fair for what was seen on the field and came after a very balanced game. Both teams faced each other with courage, resulting in a vibrant match full of goal scoring opportunities. The hosts made themselves dangerous especially in restart actions, while Parma came into the opponent’s half of the field with a more reasoned dribbling. The crociati engaged Falcone on several occasions, first with Mihaila, then with Bonny. Lecce showed more cynicism and ended the first half ahead, taking advantage of a defensive sleep by the Crusaders. In 32′ Coulibaly was surprised by Dorgu’s cutback: the Dane collected Ramadani’s splendid assist and, all alone in front of Suzuki, signed the 1-0. At the beginning of the second half, however, Lecce’s evening suddenly seemed to get more complicated because of Guilbert’s expulsion. The French defender was guilty of an unsportsmanlike act, dealing Cancellieri a far ball handball. After Guida’s measure, Parma reinvigorated and attacked head-on. Within five minutes, the guests hit three free kicks with Mihaila, Hernani and Man, but to no avail. Parma’s numerical superiority lasted, however, only eleven minutes. In 58′ Cancellieri knocks down an irrepressible Dorgu thrown into the net: red for him as well. From the next free kick here comes the Salentini’s double: helped by a deviation of the barrier, Krstovic makes it 2-0 and inflames the Lecce fans. Parma is not up for it and desperately throws itself into the attack, but Falcone is in a state of grace and denies several times the goal of hope to the opponents. At 82′, the former Sampdoria man repulses Man’s shot and overcomes shortly afterwards on Bonny as well. The game now seems to be over, but in the recovery the improbable appears. Gotti’s boys become the protagonists of a resounding blackout, conceding two goals in two minutes. First at 93′ Almqvist scores the goal of the former, then, at 95′, on the last ball of the match, Hainaut soars into the box and seals the 2-2. A draw that stirs the standings of both teams, but that tastes like a deep mockery for the hosts, who before the equalizer wasted at least a couple of chances with Krstovic in the open field to secure the three points.- photo Image – (ITALPRESS).
