BURIRAM (THAILAND) (ITALPRESS) – Francesco Bagnaia, riding
the Ducati Lenovo, triumphs in the Grand Prix of Thailand,
thus achieving his ninth win of the season. On the Chang circuit, in a race conditioned by rain, the rider from Chivasso preceded at the finish line Jorge Martin (Ducati Prima Pramac), in second place, and Pedro Acosta (Ktm GasGas), in third. With this victory Pecco reduces the championship gap on Martin to seventeen lengths. Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Pertamina) and Jack Miller (Ktm) finish fourth and fifth, respectively. In order, Brad Binder, Maverick Vinales, Johann Zarco, Alexi Espargaro and Alex Marquez complete the top ten. A wasted opportunity, however, for Marc Marquez (Ducati Gresini), who fell with twelve laps to go while battling with Bagnaia for the lead. The eight-time world champion then restarted and climbed back up to 11th place. Bezzecchi, Quartararo, Morbidelli and Bastianini, among others, also slipped.
