School, Valditara “A real cultural revolution is needed to give good opportunities to our young people”

ROME (ITALPRESS) – “I think that when we talk about technical and vocational education and training schools, we have to ask ourselves a question and a goal: what kind of model do we want, a model that gives employment prospects and quickly, with good opportunities for professional fulfillment for our young people. Since we want happy growth, another goal is to give competitiveness to the country. In order to have school reform that really achieves these goals, we have to have a real cultural revolution. If we really want this cultural revolution we have to put development, growth and work at the center, if we want to be concrete we have to talk about a major reform of technical and vocational education.” Thus Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, at a conference organized by Forza Italia.

“There is a strategic vision that belongs to the center-right, a vision that wants to give important chances to our young people. Enough of the nonsense that Valditara wants to perpetuate the blocking of the social elevator, it is exactly the opposite. There is an intelligence in our technical-professional institutes that must be enhanced. The great challenge of our society,” he added, “is to look to the development and growth of the human being, not to the primacy of ideology not to turning our eyes to the past, those who reason only by ideologies privilege themselves and their rigid beliefs over the common good.
