AMSTERDAM (HOLLAND) (ITALPRESS) – In the midst of this particular year of transition, Stellantis’ 14 iconic brands continue to focus on their products and customer-focused mobility technologies, achieving major business milestones around the world. The main focus of the Company’s transformation is the launch of new platforms globally, with about 20 new products planned for this year. Launches in 2024 include the first products built on the new multi-energy STLA platforms: The Peugeot 3008 and 5008 currently available and the Opel Grandland coming soon on STLA Medium. The Dodge Charger Daytona and Jeep Wagoneer S coming soon on the STLA Large platform.The Citroèn C3 Aircross and Basalt, Opel Frontera and Fiat Grande Panda, based on the Smart Car platform. The Company will soon announce details of STLA Frame, the third of four all-new multi-energy platforms announced during EV Day in 2021.Many new products are already on the roads or ready for order, including, in the U.S., Ram Light Duty sales grew 11 percent during the third quarter of 2024 compared to the previous quarter, with sales of the 2025 version of the new Ram 1500 up 66 percent during the same period. The all-new Peugeot 3008 is off to a great start, with about 75,000 orders and a 25% BEV mix. Orders for the new Citroèn C3 Hybrid version-whose deliveries began in September-were more than 50,000, while the è-C3 version exceeded 25,000 orders. The brand also launched the Basalt in India and South America. The all-new Junior brings Alfa Romeo’s typical sportiness and driving pleasure back to the B-segment of the European market and is offered with the widest range of engines in its class to meet all customer needs. The Junior has already garnered more than 10,000 orders.The revamped Pro One van range from Citroèn, FIAT Professional, Opel, Peugeot and Vauxhall is available with 12 models in all segments, with second-generation electrification (battery and fuel cell electric vehicles) and full connectivity for vans and pickups.Leapmotor International, the joint venture between Stellantis and Leapmotor, has delivered the first 1,200 T03 (A-segment) and C10 (D-SUV) to European dealers. In 2025, the electric offering will be enriched with the introduction of the B10, Leapmotor’s first global C-SUV, and the introduction of extended-range EV technology on the C10.Stellantis is leading sales in France, Italy, Brazil, Portugal, Turkey, Algeria and Argentina from the beginning of the year through September. And in the top three in Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom. Stellantis’ market share in the U.S. grew from 7.2 percent in July to 8 percent in September; U.S. brands continue to perform well.The U.S. dealer stock has been reduced by more than 80 thousand units as of October 30, 2024 compared to June 30, 2024, and is in line with the previously communicated goal of reducing 100 thousand units by November 30, 2024. In the U.S., Stellantis brands continue to dominate the plug-in hybrid category: Jeep Wrangler 4xe, Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, and Dodge Hornet R/T occupy four of the top five positions among the best-selling plug-in hybrids, accounting for 45 percent of the PHEV market share through August 2024. Stellantis Pro One is the leader of light commercial vehicles in Europe in the first three quarters of 2024 with a 29 percent share, leading in France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, and in South America with a share of more than 32 percent. For BEVs, Pro One is first in the European ranking with 32.8 percent. Jeep sales in Europe exceeded 100,000 units in September, up 3.5 percent year-on-year. In the third quarter, Wagoneer sales increased 79% year-on-year. Avenger is the best-selling SUV in Italy (4.5% share) and the third best-selling SUV in France and the Netherlands from the beginning of the year through August.The Fiat 500e is the leader in the A segment of BEVs with a 45% market share; the Peugeot e-208 is the leader in the B segment of BEVs. The Fiat Panda is the best-selling A-segment car in Europe, with sales exceeding 100,000 units in 2024. The Jeep Commander is the best-selling seven-seat SUV in Brazil as of 2021. Jeep Renegade, Jeep Compass and Jeep Commander, all produced in the country, have reached 1 million models sold.
