TURIN (ITALPRESS) – Stellantis Pro One has opened its new global commercial vehicle hub at the “Mirafiori Automotive Park 2030 in Turin, Italy. This hub centralizes all functions that align the business unit’s strategy and directives to improve efficiency and accelerate decision-making. The new hub, involving more than 80 professionals, will include various cross-sector functions such as engineering, marketing, product development, sales, logistics, communications, finance, human resources, purchasing, recreational vehicles, manufacturing and other customer-centric activities.
In addition, it will be the “management center” for all employees engaged in the global commercial vehicle business. These teams will collaborate with competence centers and manufacturing facilities around the world, supporting Stellantis Pro One’s mission to strengthen its global leadership position in commercial vehicles.
“The Stellantis Pro One Global Commercial Vehicle Hub was created to bring together the talents of our people in dedicated teams located in all of our regions to achieve our goal of becoming a global leader in commercial vehicles, in a very profitable segment that accounts for one-third of our revenue,” said Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis. “The decision to assign this Hub to Mirafiori is further evidence of our deep commitment to Italy,” he added.
In recent years, Stellantis has invested more than 2 billion a year in Italy, focusing on new products and production facilities. In this context, the Atessa plant continues to be crucial to Stellantis’ strategy. “We will continue to build a sustainable business model in Italy, a model that requires the support of unions, suppliers and institutions. A joint effort to form a strong Italian team,” Tavares added.
Stellantis Pro One has renewed its entire van range, simultaneously launching 12 new models including Citroen, Fiat Professional, Opel, Peugeot and Vauxhall in all segments with second-generation electrification (battery and fuel cell electric vehicles) and full connectivity for vans and pickups.
