Suzuki introduces the new Swift Hybrid 4×4 Allgrip

ROME (ITALPRESS) – Suzuki has chosen the Altopiano dei 7 Comuni plateau in the province of Vicenza, Italy, and the 13th Gathering of the community of enthusiasts of its 4×4 cars for the unveiling of the Swift Hybrid 4×4 AllGrip. Like the two-wheel drive version, the 4×4 version features the iconic suspended roof design and sleek, sporty lines. What’s more, the 4×4 AllGrip version differs by having a higher ground clearance (+25 mm compared to the two-wheel drive version) and the presence of a rear differential. The presence of a true mechanical drive shaft and rear differential does not change the car’s roominess, which offers exceptional interior space in relation to its exterior dimensions. The same goes for the trunk, whose standard capacity is an impressive 265 liters, the same as the 2-wheel drive version. For Swift Hybrid, which has a distinct urban and road-going vocation, Suzuki has chosen to adopt the AllGrip Auto all-wheel drive system, which automatically and intelligently manages traction without requiring any intervention from the driver. The latter can count on always ready responses to the controls, even on snow and ice. In detail, the AllGrip Auto technology employs a mechanical drive shaft that through a viscous coupling allows it to transfer torque to the rear wheels as soon as it detects slippage in the front wheels, benefiting smooth driving and stability. Thanks to its low weight, Swift Hybrid 4×4 AllGrip makes the new 1.2 hybrid engine with 12-volt hybrid system work at its best, combining a three-cylinder long-stroke engine and an electric motor that can develop a power output of 2.3 kW and a torque of an impressive 60 Nm. Their teamwork results in maximum system power and torque of 60.9 kW/ 82.8 hp and 111 Nm, respectively. Still equipped with a five-speed manual transmission, Swift Hybrid 4×4 AllGrip has an average consumption of 4.9 l/100 km and average emissions 110 g/km CO2 in the WLTP mixed cycle. Swift Hybrid 4×4 AllGrip is offered in the only Top trim and has special paints as the only options. It is offered at a list price of 24,500 euros, turnkey price including VAT, excluding Ipt and Pfu. For metallic paints (excluding Amsterdam orange), 550 euros including Vat must be added. For two-color metallic paints, on the other hand, 950 euros VAT included. For the launch period (until Sept. 30) it will be offered at a price of 17,900 euros thanks to Suzuki’s contribution of 3,600 euros (with trade-in and scrappage also without financing) and 3,000 euros of state incentives (with Euro 0, 1, 2 scrappage), VAT included, excluding Vat and Pfu.(ITALPRESS).-Photo: Suzuki press office-
