On this occasion, Loris Capirossi, multiple World Champion and former Suzuki rider, and Livio Suppo, Team Manager with six MotoGP rider titles and head of the Suzuki MotoGP Team in 2022, were the super guests at the press event that inaugurated Suzuki’s presence at the show. The two shared memories, anecdotes and experiences related to racing and MotoGP with fans, leaving an indelible mark in the hearts of those present. The audience had the unique opportunity to hear directly from their voices the exciting tales of recent motorsport history. During the press conference, not only did Loris Capirossi unveil the Suzuki GSX-8R Legend Edition dedicated to him, but bookings were also started for all 4 iconic versions of the Suzuki GSX-8R Legend Edition.Four unique versions celebrating motorcycling legendsSuzuki wanted to celebrate the exploits of four iconic motorcycling riders-Franco Uncini, Marco Lucchinelli, Loris Capirossi, and Kevin Schwantz. Four Suzuki riders, still in the hearts of fans today for their sporting exploits, to whom the GSX-8R Legend Editions are dedicated, with extraordinary and unique liveries specific to each rider, adding even more appeal to the Hamamatsu sports car and now available to order on the dedicated website. Only five examples per livery will be available – 20 examples in all – already equipped with single seat covers.The GSX-8R, Suzuki’s new sports bike, is further enhanced by combining performance and design with the brand’s sporting heritage. This is complemented by outstanding mechanics and electronics: the parallel-twin engine delivers 83 hp at 8,500 rpm maximum power and 78 Nm at 6,800 rpm. All this is supported by a frame with aluminum swingarm, forged aluminum semi handlebars, upside-down fork, Full LED lighting system and a 5-inch color TFT instrumentation.To manage the GSX-8R’s dynamic performance are the refined electronic controls built into the standard Suzuki Intelligent Ride System, which features Suzuki Drive Mode Selector with three engine maps (Active, Basic and Comfort), Suzuki Traction Control System adjustable to three levels and two-way quick shift, for a riding experience that combines best-in-class feel with maximum control.The GSX-8R Legend Editions can be ordered exclusively online through the dedicated website, until September 30, 2024 and while stocks last, at a price of 11,500 euros f.c. including VAT.The procedure is very simple: once you have chosen the Legend Edition of your choice and the dealership at which to finalize your purchase, simply enter your email and pay a deposit of 500 euros via PayPal. Within two days you will be contacted by the dealer of reference to finalize the purchase and arrange delivery of the GSX-8R Legend Edition.
