The new Nissan Interstar arrives in dealerships.

ROME (ITALPRESS) – The new Interstar, the largest in Nissan’s commercial vehicle range, arrives on Italian roads and dealerships. Featuring an imposing and elegant design, it has a class-leading load capacity and a wide range of customizations in the Van and Chassis Cab versions that can be fitted out to meet the various needs of customers. In addition, the electric-powered versions are ideal companions for those who work in urban settings and must comply with pollution and air quality regulations.It represents a milestone toward full electrification from the LCV range that will be completed by 2027. It is available with an 87kWh battery that provides a maximum range of 460 kilometers. With 130kW DC fast charging, 252 kilometers of range can be accumulated in just 30 minutes. The vehicle is also available with a 40kWh battery, which offers a range of about 200 kilometers. With AC charging (11kW charger for the 40kWh battery and 22kW charger for the 87kWh battery), 100% battery charge is reached in about 4 hours. It can also be equipped with a diesel engine in 105-, 130-, 150-, and 170-hp versions, in combination with a 6-speed manual transmission or the new 9-speed automatic transmission. An engine characterized by low fuel consumption of up to 7.4 liters/100 km, reduced by as much as 1.5 liters/100 km compared to the previous version. Through the 131.2 cm wide side door, access is gained to the large cargo compartment, which ranges from 10.8 cubic meters in the L2H2 version to a maximum of 14.8 m3 in the L3H3 version; a compartment whose length has increased compared to the previous version and now reaches up to 385.5 cm depending on the wheelbase.In the best-selling 35-quintal version, New Interstar EV has a payload ranging from 1,394 kg in the van to 1,450 kg in the chassis. In the similar diesel version, the payload ranges from 1,447 kg in the Van to 1,704 kg in the chassis. The new Interstar is available with different standard equipment, such as fixed or tipper open body or closed body, in different sizes, heights and payload capacities, in 33- and 35-quint diesel and 100% electric 35- and 40-quint diesel versions, to meet every possible customer need.The passenger compartment has been completely redesigned to improve its space, comfort and practicalities. Maneuverability and class-leading aerodynamics have also been improved, with a 20 percent reduction in drag. All versions of the new Nissan Interstar are equipped with a wide range of safety features, including emergency braking, lane keeping system, traffic sign recognition system, driver fatigue warning and tire pressure monitoring system. Trailer Sway Assist, which assists the driver when using a trailer, is also part of the technological equipment. The vehicle is equipped with an innovative system that ensures optimal braking power regardless of vehicle weight.
