ROMA (ITALPRESS) – At the Council Hall of the University Polyclinic Foundation Agostino Gemelli IRCCS in Rome took place the presentation of the project “Here is RaiPlay”, to better live the time in the hospital”. Through the presence of RaiPlay and RaiPlay Sound within the Gemelli Polyclinic, you want to offer concrete support to people who daily attend the structure: patients, family, escorts and health professionals.
The goal is to propose valuable content, designed to accompany the delicate and often complex moments of hospital daily life, helping to improve the experience of those who are in the Polyclinic.
Daniele Franco – President of Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli IRCCS; Giampaolo Rossi – Managing Director Rai; Simona Agnes – Board of Directors Rai; Daniele Piacentini – General Director of Policlinico Universitario A. Present is a representation of doctors and health personnel of the areas and departments of Policlinico Gemelli where the first phase of the pilot project began: Cemad, Cemi, therapeutic garden, pediatric emergency, Gemelli Art.
The project was created to inspire, inform and distract positively, offering an opportunity to lighten the stay in the hospital, also involving the emotional sphere of patients and their families. Accessing quality content means, in this context, breathing beauty and culture even among the hospital walls, transforming a waiting time or care in an opportunity to take care of yourself in a broader profile.
“Here is RaiPlay is a project that wants to accompany the hospital path with content that speaks to people, offering information, entertainment, culture and relief. A way to humanize more and more places of care, making the hospital experience richer than positive stimuli for all. The presence of the Rai al Policlinico Gemelli has a symbolic and concrete value, which embodies our mission well: being close to people at every moment of life, also and especially in places where human fragility manifests itself with more force – says Giampaolo Rossi, managing director Rai -. Art and culture are powerful instruments of care, capable of raising the gaze and the soul.
