Torino-Lazio 2-3, biancocelesti impose first stop on granata

TURIN (ITALPRESS) – Tavares and Dia dragged Lazio, while Torino, at its first stop of the season, did not need yet another goal from Adams to bring home precious points: in the final came flashes from Noslin and Coco, and in the end it was the Biancocelesti who prevailed 2-3 on the Granata pitch in the sixth day of Serie A. Vanoli regains two key pawns in defense as Vojvoda and Coco, while in attack Sanabria is confirmed alongside Zapata. Among the Biancocelesti space for Castellanos, returning from injury, supported by Dia with Zaccagni and Isaksen on the flanks. The Dane himself is the protagonist of one of the first flashes of the match, exchanging with Lazzari, but Sosa closes well. At 8′ the guest advantage: Tavares breaks in on a midfield duel, arrives at the back and is lucid in raising his head and seeing the insertion of Guendouzi, who flatly pierces Paleari. The match is balanced and at times at a low pace, but Torino lights up when they manage to involve Zapata and Sanabria: from an aerial dribble of theirs, space is cleared for Ilic’s volley, on which Provedel is reactive. In the second half, Vanoli immediately inserted Adams, but it was Lazio that created: Paleari closed in on Castellanos and Romagnoli but could do nothing about Dia’s shot, which doubled in 60′ after Isaksen’s initiative, who was good at getting past Coco, getting to the back and putting in the middle, thanks also to Zaccagni’s excellent veil. The Toro promptly reacted with the new entries: Ilic carried the ball and served Vlasic, who in turn fed it to Adams; the Scot’s diagonal shot was surgical and Provedel could not get to it. Few scoring chances come in the last twenty minutes despite the intensity remaining high, with Torino trying to build the chances for an equalizer but Lazio is good at managing the pace, even trying to strike on the counterattack. In the final, Adams tried again with a tricky solution following an aerial check, but it was at the turn of the 90′ that the match ignited again: first Noslin, who entered from 30″, seemed to close the game with the 1-3 paw, but at 92′ Coco, after Masina’s tower, found a perfect turn at the second post. It is the last thrill of a crazy match, whose result does not change anymore.- Photo: Image (ITALPRESS).
