PALERMO (ITALPRESS) – Totò Schillaci’s condition is getting worse. The Italia ’90 hero, hospitalized at Palermo’s Civic Hospital since the evening of last Sept. 7, is in critical condition. In recent days there had been some encouraging improvement with the reduction of oxygen to breathe, but in recent hours the situation has again become delicate and difficult. “In the last 24 hours, the clinical condition of patient Salvatore Schillaci is significantly worsening, pharmacological and instrumental support of cardiorespiratory functions allow at the moment a stationarity of vital parameters.” This is the medical bulletin on the clinical condition of the former striker, admitted to the Pneumology Department of the Civic Hospital of Palermo. “In the act,” the hospital’s health directorate points out, “the patient is also carrying out pain-relieving therapies, is sedated pharmacologically and is cared for continuously by medical and nursing staff and family members.”- Photo: Image -(ITALPRESS).
