Toyota C-HR, bolder styling with Lounge Hero trim

ROME (ITALPRESS) – Toyota C-HR introduces an eye-catching new trim, Lounge Hero, which benefits from a wide range of electrified and ultra-efficient powertrain options. The version, introduced to replace the previous Lounge Premiere, features bold new styling updates to emphasize the highest levels of design and equipment, inspired by the DNA of the second-generation Toyota C-HR as a “road-going concept car.” In the Lounge Hero version, the unique look of the Toyota C-HR is enhanced by the striking bi-tone+ color combination that creates the elegant appearance of a lower roofline with a strong black element on the side sills and roof. New design details emphasize the unique curves of the Toyota C-HR. Trim around the front grille is now body-color, as is the rear bumper spoiler, while new 19-inch matte gray wheels complement the refined, modern exterior. An energetic new Metal Oxide color is available for the Lounge, Trend, GR Sport and GR Sport Hero versions, matching the bi-tone and bi-tone+ combinations of various trims. The targeted upgrades also extend to the interior of the Lounge’s cabin, where new front seat materials feature a mix of synthetic leather and suede, in a deep Bordeaux Red color accented by multicolor stitching. The Liquid Black shift knob, as well as the door and front console trim, add a dynamic touch, along with premium synthetic suede door upholstery. In the rear, the Bordeaux headstock is elegantly executed in a combination of PVC and Samara materials for a comfortable and durable finish. The Lounge Hero’s cabin feels lighter and more spacious thanks to the unique panoramic roof, which creates 3 cm of additional headroom and uses innovative technology to keep heat inside the cabin on cooler days and prevent overheating in sunny weather. In addition to the head-up display for the driver, the cabin features a 64-color ambient lighting system for a serene atmosphere and enhanced safety through visual alerts, as well as nanoeX technology for improved air quality. Within the Toyota C-HR range, the GR SPORT Premiere Edition is renamed the GR SPORT Hero, offering the same unique motorsport-inspired features. These include FSC shock absorber technology to optimize handling according to road conditions, while the dynamic damper in the front reduces road noise and vibration. Generous 20-inch wheels and a stunning bi-tone+ color scheme complement the eye-catching details, including the G mesh grille motif, GR badging, and sporty front seats with embossed GR logo. Inside, the center console is embellished with Liquid Black details, and a head-up display and JBL premium audio system are also standard. For 2025, Toyota C-HR offers a choice of Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid powertrains across the range. In fact, you can choose between Toyota’s latest fifth-generation 1.8 Hybrid 140 hybrid technology and the Plug-in 2.0 Hybrid 223 version. In this variant it weighs in as a zero-emission electric vehicle for short trips and that of ultra-efficient hybrid for longer trips. It has a range of 66 km in the WLTP combined cycle, rising to about 100 km in urban driving conditions (WTLP EAER City). The two engines are available in FWD front-wheel drive only. All versions of the Toyota C-HR benefit from Toyota T-Mate, which includes the third generation of Toyota Safety Sense active safety and driver assistance range, as standard.
