MARANELLO (MODENA) (ITALPRESS) – The Formula 1 World Championship faces its second consecutive race on a street circuit. From the super-fast Baku track, Scuderia Ferrari and the other teams move on to Singapore. “The outcome of the last race was not what we hoped for, which in itself says, however, that our level of competitiveness is very high, especially in the current Formula 1 environment, where there is little performance difference between the four top teams,” explains Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur. “We want to continue on this path in Singapore, another very challenging street circuit. Both of our drivers like racing here, and indeed one of them won just last year. We would like to repeat the feat this weekend by continuing to work well as a team, as we have done in the last few races. The last two Sundays,” Vasseur says again, “have shown us how important tire management is, and having the three softer compounds available again, after Monza and Baku, we should have a better understanding of their behavior, although then every track is different. Of course, qualifying is also very important here, and we are prepared to deal with it in the best possible way, so I am sure we will be able to put our opponents in trouble.”- Photo Ipa Agency -(ITALPRESS).
