ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “In the memory of the earthquake that struck L’Aquila and the surrounding area the night between 5 and 6 April 2009, I renew the mourning for the victims and the closeness to their families. A thought to all those who bear the signs of those moments, to the local community and to those who stopped help and rescue in the emergency and in the next phase. The memory of that night remains indelible and continually recalls responsibility and commitment to building the future.” So the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Lorenzo Fontana.
URSO “FERITA PROFONDA CHE HA SEGNATO L’ITALIA”
“In the 17th anniversary of the 2009 earthquake, my thoughts go to L’Aquila, its victims and their families. A deep wound that marked Italy and which continues to live in the memory of all of us. A few weeks ago, together with Mayor Pierluigi Biondi, I wanted to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the earthquake. On that occasion, during the Giornata della Cultura Artigiana, I wore the Flower of Memory: a simple gesture to reiterate the bond with the community that, even in pain, has been able to rise with dignity, strength and pride. L’Aquila is today an example of resilience and model of economic and social rebirth, able to offer new opportunities to young generations.” So in a social post the minister Adolfo Urso.
