600 Italian tourists blocked in Sharm El-Sheik, take care of the Farnesina

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Following the cancellation of three commercial flights to Milan on yesterday’s day – due to the suspension of air traffic from Greece for a technical failure to communicate – about 600 compatriots are currently stationed in the tourist resort of Sharm El-Sheik, Egypt.

According to a note from the Farnesina, Alpitour customers (about 90) should return with an extraordinary Neos flight, scheduled to start at midnight tonight. On the same flight, other compatriots will return with the coordination of the Italian Embassy in Cairo, which has sent two local officials. In close connection with the Farnesina, the Embassy is also providing maximum assistance to the remaining countrymen to ensure that they are housed in adequate structures and to identify new flights that allow their return to Italy as soon as possible.
