Renault Group and its brands record the third consecutive year of growth

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In 2025, Renault Group sold 2.336.807 vehicles worldwide (+3.2% on a market growing 1.6%), with its three complementary brands that record a higher growth than that of the market. Renault: 1.628.030 vehicles (+3.2% compared to 2024). Dacia: 697.408 vehicles (+3.1% compared to 2024). Alpine: for the first time passed the threshold of 10,000 registrations (10.970 vehicles), i.e. more than twice last year (+139.2%).

In Europe, with 1,607.848 units sold, Renault Group is on the podium of automotive manufacturers, thanks to the solid performance recorded on the automotive market, especially in segment C.

Renault Group’s car sales increased by 5.9%, more than twice as much as market growth (+2.3%). The Group stands at first among car manufacturers in France. Sales of Renault Group commercial vehicles show signs of progressive recovery in 2025, with a second semester at -10.6% compared to the first half at -29.6%.

On international markets, Brand Renault has seen an increase in sales of 11.7%, thanks to the strong growth in the main markets: Latin America (+11.3%), South Korea (+55.9%) and Morocco (+44.8%). The Group continues to pursue a rigorous value-oriented trade policy: Private sales account for around 60% of total sales of cars in the top five European countries (16.9 points above the market) with 3 models[4] appearing in the top 5 of the category. Sales of the C and higher segments in Europe account for 31.1% of the Group’s car sales (+1.0 point).

Strict approach to residual values, greater than 5 to 12 points than those of European competitors. Renault Group continues the offensive of electrification of cars in Europe, with about 400,000 hybrid vehicles sold (+35.1%) and about 194,000 electric vehicles sold (+76.7%). Renault is leading in the race to electric vehicles thanks to its new models, reaching a mix of electric vehicles of 20.2% and recording, at the same time, an increase in sales of hybrid vehicles (+17.0%). Dacia has registered over 113,000 hybrid vehicles sold in the year, with an increase of 121.7% compared to 2024.

In 2026, the Group continued its product offensive: To renew and expand the range of thermal and electrical vehicles in Europe, with, among other things: New Renault Clio, Renault Twingo E-Tech Electric, a new electric model of Dacia in segment A, a new hybrid and thermal Dacia in segment C and Alpine A390; and accelerate growth on international markets, in particular, with Renault Boreal in Latin America and Turkey, Renault Duster in India, Renault Filante in South Korea and on international markets and the new Renault pick-up in Latin America.
