ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Cassa Depositi e Prestiti has published the new Bando for the provision of new beds for students, based on an agreement signed with the Ministry of University and Research and in line with the provisions of the revision of the Pnrr. The Fund is allocated a total of 599 million euros. The initiative aims to reach by 15 May 2027 the threshold of 60 thousand accommodation considering both the Bando launched by CDP and the Ministry. To access financial contributions, applications open to both public and private individuals may be submitted through the dedicated Telematics Service by 29 June 2026. As a result of the provision of the students, CDP will be able to provide the managers of the structures a financial contribution lost by 30 June 2027. Each request for admission must include at least 18 new beds per residence and the property will have to be located in the territory of provincial capitals head office of university or adjacent areas. The managers of the structures will be required to guarantee rates of at least 15% lower than the average market values and to reserve at least 30% of the beds, with further prices, to students without offices capable and worthy even if without means. In addition, it must be ensured for 12 years the prevalent use of accommodation or residence properties for university students.
