BERNA (SVIZZERA) (ITALPRESS) – The owner of the Constellation of Crans-Montana, Jacques Moretti, was discarded after a new assessment by the Swiss judiciary of the danger of escape. The Valais Tribunal for Coercive Measures established the release of Moretti and placed alternative measures after a friend, who remained in the anonymity, paid for Moretti a deposit of 200 thousand Swiss francs. The alternative measures are, as the Court explains, “standard” and include among other things the ban on expatriation and the obligation to submit to the police station every day.

“I have no words to comment on Jacques Moretti’s scarceness in Switzerland. It is an act that represents a real outrage to the sensitivity of families who have lost their children to Crans-Montana, who does not take into account the mourning and deep pain that these families share with the Italian People”. He wrote on X the vicepremier and foreign minister, Antonio Tajani. “We will strengthen our support and solidarity with the parents of the victims of this incredible disaster. We will continue to cooperate so that the Swiss authorities will alert the truth and the responsibilities of what happened,” Tajani continued.
