“In a context marked by profound changes, education is called to renew itself in order to be able to continue to correspond to its function as a tool to remove the obstacles of economic and social order which, by effectively limiting the freedom and equality of citizens, prevent the full development of the human person and the effective participation in the political, economic and social organization of the country. The International Education Day 2026, promoted by the United Nations, recognises and values the role of young people as co-creators of modern and inclusive educational systems, able to respond to their aspirations and provide them, alongside tools of understanding reality, the skills to act concretely and become protagonists in society. Education is a fundamental human right and a public good, an essential lever for cohesive, participative and democratic societies. A force that makes us free to think, act, live.”.
