ROMA (ITALPRESS) – There are 80 Lazio fans who were intercepted at dawn this morning by the State Police at the exit of Monte Porzio Catone and, once blocked, fully identified with the support of the Scientific Police. The group from the transfer to Lecce, aboard van and private cars, was intercepted along the A1 by road police crews after the news of a contact recorded in the territory of Frosinone, along the same highway artery, between the Biancocelesti supporters and the ultras of Naples. After the news, the plan was immediately taken that allowed to monitor in progression the move along the great road and, once directed towards the highway barrier of Monte Porzio Catone, probably for the purpose of evading any control activities at the main entrance halls in the Capital, were intercepted and blocked by crews of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office and by contingents of the coordinated public force. From the inside of one of the vans heading towards the highway barrier, to the sight of the agents, objects to offend and kitchen knives were thrown along the side of the road.
All the material has been seized and the van passengers have been accompanied in Questura for the subsequent treatment for judicial police profiles. Further lay fans, who traveled on board a bus, were intercepted in the area of Piazza Don Bosco after, at the sight of the police officers of the police, tried to escape the controls. Some of the passengers were however tracked and, among the above, some found in possession of cutters and firecrackers were conducted at the police offices for treatment for the purposes of judicial police. Inside the bus, then intercepted by crews of the Questura, helmets, rods and firecrackers were found. The position of each person will be carefully examined also at the result of the reconstruction of the contact that involved the Lazio typhoon with the Neapolitan typhoon for the purposes of any communication to the Judicial Authority and the adoption of the Daspo provision.
