ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “Renewable and technological neutrality are the leaders that Italy, strong in its strategic position in the Mediterranean and in the wake of European commitment, is following to ensure an increasingly clean and potentially less expensive energy for citizens and businesses.” Gilberto Pichetto, Minister for the Environment and Energy Security, said this on the occasion of the International Day of Clean Energy. “The affirmation of renewables is already outlined in our Pniec and has been strengthened by the measures adopted in these years, last among all that on the areas suitable to host them,” said the minister.
“In a phase marked by deep international uncertainties, Europe must explore with confidence all available solutions: from hydrogen to already winning experiences of transport biofuels, up to a new, clean and sustainable nuclear. A necessary step change– concluded Pichetto – to overcome ideological visions and accompany with pragmatism the necessary and irreversible process of decarbonization”.
