Italy from record to Paralympics, 40 blue athletes in the street

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Via Libera, from the National Committee of the Italian Paralympic Committee, to the names that will compose the delegation that will take part in the Winter Paralympic of Milan-Cortina, scheduled from 6 to 15 March 2026. Italy will be present at the event with the record number of 40 athletes (35 men, 5 women), of which 11 beginners, plus 3 athletes, who will compete in 6 disciplines: Alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, biathlon, snowboarding, wheelchair curling and para ice hockey.

These are the blue ones that will be engaged on the snows and on the ice of the house, between Cortina, Predazzo and Milan: for the para ice hockey, Alessandro Andreoni, Eusebio Antochi, Gabriele Araudo, Gian Luca Cavaliere, Cristoph Depaoli, Sandro Kalegaris, Nikko Landeros, Alex Enderle, Stephan Kafmann, Julian Kasslatter, Nils La Radirch to compete in snowboard for Italy will be Jacopo Luchini, Riccardo Cardani and Emanuel Perathoner; Cristian Toninelli, Marco Pisani, Giuseppe Romele, Giuseppe Spatola, Mattia Dal Pastro and Michele Biglione were called in the Nordic skiing and biathlon; for curling in wheelchairs, will descend on track Fabrizio Bich, Egidio Marchese, Angela Menardi, Matteo Ronzani, Giuliana Turra, Orietta Bertò and Paolo Ioriatti.

The Italian team that will participate in the Milan Cortina Games, will be led by the two flag holders Chiara Mazzel and René De Silvestro.
