Istat estimates an increase in GDP of 0.3% in the fourth quarter, +0.7% for 2025

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In the fourth quarter of 2025, Istat estimates that the gross domestic product (Pil), expressed in concatenate values with reference year 2020, correct for calendar and seasonal effects, has increased by 0.3% compared to the previous quarter and by 0.8% in tendential terms. The fourth quarter of 2025 had two working days less than the previous quarter and the same number of working days compared to the fourth quarter of 2024. Conjunctural variation is the synthesis of an increase in value added in all major sectors, more marked in agriculture, forestry and fisheries and industry. On the question side, there is a positive contribution of the national component (to the gross of stocks) and a negative contribution of the net foreign component.

In 2025 the GDP, expressed in concatenate values with reference year 2020, correct for the calendar and seasonal effects, increased by 0.7% compared to 2024 (in 2025 there were three working days less than 2024). The variation acquired for 2026 is 0.3%.
