ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Mazda6e was selected among the five finalists of the prestigious World Car Design of the Year 2026, as part of the annual World Car Finals. Choosing a jury of globally recognized design experts, the Mazda6e ranks among the most innovative and emotionally engaging vehicles in the industry. This recognition underlines Mazda’s continued commitment to developing a humancentric design, for art and for the evolution of Kodo – Soul of Motion philosophy, reinterpreted in the era of electrification. The Mazda6e was selected along with four other finalists, chosen from a number of suitable vehicles marketed globally. The finalists have been evaluated according to the overall excellence of design, innovation and the contribution to shaping the future of mobility. “We are honored that the Mazda6e has been appointed finalist for the World Car Design of the Year 2026,” said Jo Stenuit, Design Director of Mazda Motor Europe. “This vehicle represents the next Mazda design chapter: elegant, pure and emotionally engaging, able to embrace the possibilities offered by electrification. The winners of the six prize categories will be proclaimed on 1 April 2026, during the award ceremony at the New York International Auto Show.While the global jury composed of 98 automotive journalists continues their ratings, Mazda congratulates all the finalists and waits with interest the final results.
