ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Promote an open dialogue between institutions, industry, academic world and scientific world, showing live to young generations present the challenges and opportunities deriving from the study of STEM disciplines. It is the goal of “Stem. The new technologies for a safe future” promoted by Leonardo and Fondazione Leonardo ETS, as part of the national STEM week organized by the Ministry of University and Research. The event was attended, among others, the ministra della Famiglia e delle Pari OpportunitÃ, Eugenia Roccella; the Secretary of Defense, Isabella Rauti; the Ad and General Director of Leonardo, Roberto Cingolani; the Director-General of Fondazione Leonardo ETS and Chief Digital Identity & Outreach Officer of Leonardo; Antonio Liotti Chief People & Organization of Leonardo; the scientific diffuser Alberto Angela. There are also pupils of the classes of fourth and fifth upper Lycée.

Fondazione Leonardo ETS shares this vision and has the ambition to stimulate the curiosity and interest of young generations through a diverse and innovative educational offer, which includes seminars, cycles of meetings in schools and other scientific dissemination initiatives to help build a safer, more sustainable and fairer society,” said Helga Cossu, General Manager of Fondazione Leonardo ETS and Chief Digital Identity & Officer of Leonardo.
Leonardo and Fondazione Leonardo ETS – through interventions, testimonies and dissemination experiences – intend to contribute to the diffusion of a culture of conscious Defense, highlighting how research, technological innovation and security are central elements for the protection of people, infrastructure and democratic values. At the exhibition space, some of the technologies developed by Leonardo’s researchers and engineers have been exhibited.
