After the success of the last edition organized in collaboration with LensCrafters, the first optical chain of the group in North America, again this year the Future Leaders Program, the ambitious training course of excellence that will see the protagonists of the Italian School “Guglielmo Marconi”.
The New York offices of the international group EssilorLuxottica will host the presentation of the program in which for eight weeks of meetings, participants will be able to see in person how a company defines their strategies and collaborates between departments, with the aim of creating a successful marketing campaign on the “wearable products” of EssilorLuxottica, which will target the teenagers.
The heart of the program will show boys how to achieve transversal skills from very young people and be able to test themselves through dedication and teamwork and then submit their campaign to the executive leadership team.
The inaugural meeting, in the presence of Anthony Martire, Dean of the Italian School Guglielmo Marconi, and Valeria Neri, Coordinatrice PCTO and of the projects of the school, involved a selected team of leaders and professionals of EssilorLuxottica, who will work side by side with students in a structured path of mentorship and active learning.
The initiative, promoted and enthusiastically supported by the President of LensCrafters, Alfonso Cerullo, is a precious opportunity for students to experience an immersive, concrete and challenging experience, in close contact with key figures of the company such as Chiara Parisi, Executive Vice President Human Resources North America, and Chiara Semiolo, Senior Manager Talent Acquisition of the Group.
“Projects like Future Leaders arise from the deep conviction that children need concrete tools to interpret the world that awaits them. As educators, our task is to offer real skills, but also confidence: trust in their talent and their ability to become the leaders of tomorrow. This collaboration represents exactly the type of training we believe should accompany the new generations,” said Anthony Martire.
“For Luxottica, today more than ever, it is essential to attract new generations and accompany the growth of tomorrow’s leaders. Future Leaders allows us to build an authentic dialogue with the boys, to understand their point of view and, at the same time, to convey the values and skills of the corporate world. We strongly believe that creating a concrete path between business and young talent is not only an investment on the future, but a responsibility,” says Chiara Parisi.
Fabrizio Uguzzoni, President Professional Fusion, eScott Schroeder, Vice Presient Talent Acquisition took part remotely, confirming the strategic importance Future Leaders has for the company and the strong commitment to dialogue with the new generations for which this experience will not only be a learning workshop but a concrete opportunity to start building as the protagonists of tomorrow.
