“Youth and Work for ZeroNeet”, free training for 10,000 young people

MILANO (ITALPRESS) – It is called “Giovani e Lavoro per ZeroNeet”, is a project that is part of the ZeroNeet challenge promoted by Fondazione Cariplo in collaboration with Regione Lombardia and Intesa Sanpaolo: the program aims to support 20,000 young people who do not study and do not work through actions aimed at preventing school abandonment, countering youth inactivity and generating useful knowledge for increasingly effective interventions.
“Giovani e Lavoro per ZeroNeet”, supported by Fondazione Cariplo and Intesa Sanpaolo and created with Generation Italy – a non-profit foundation initiated by McKinsey & Company – started in 2026 with the aim to accompany 10,000 young people between 18 and 29 years in the next four years. A path designed for those who live in Lombardy and in the provinces of Novara and Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and want to build their professional future starting from their own potential.
The project offers free and intensive courses in the sectors most demanded by companies: Sales ( Retail and Hospitality/Restaurant); Digital/Tech (Java and .NET Software Developments, CRM Developers Salesforce, Cybersecurity Systems and Analysts on Cisco Technologies, Data Engineer, Cloud Specialist, SAP Developer); Manufacture (Medical Control Machine Operator, CAD-CAM Designer); Green Jobs (Photovoltaic Panel Installers, Renewable Commercial Technique).
The training is totally free and delivered 100% online, except for restaurants, cnc operators and photovoltaic panels installers, which provide a 50% online and 50% in presence.
The routes are designed to be experiential and result-oriented, accompanying participants up to the first job interview, always guaranteed. The method is based on learning by doing: less theory, more practical. Each student is followed by dedicated mentor, who support the development of basic technical skills and soft skills to enter the world of work.
