MILANO (ITALPRESS) – Inaugurated by the President of the Lombardy Region Attilio Fontana, the Minister of Tourism Daniela Santanché, the Regional Councillor for Tourism, Regional Marketing and Fashion Debora Massari and the President of Fondazione Fiera Milano Giovanni Bozzetti the 46th edition of BIT – International Tourism Exchange, the event of reference in Italy of the sector, scheduled until 12 February at Rho Fiera Milano. “The tourism sector is a sector of great strategic importance for Lombardy – said the president of the Lombardy Region Attilio Fontana – and always of great importance. The concomitance in Fiera Milano with the Olympics, which are going very well, makes this fair even more international and reference point for the sector. As a Region we continue to work to enhance even small villages to expand the tourism sector”.

Lombardy Region participates in BIT 2026 with an exhibition space of 756 square meters in Hall 11, within which it will host 48 co-exposers. In particular, it is 36 tourist operators for the BIT Seller area and 12 public entities in the so-called Territori area, selected through the ‘Bando fairs 1° semester 2026’. This year’s stand represents Lombardy as ‘Experience to Live’. The exhibition space of Region offers an immersive experience to know Lombardy through all its aspects and excellences: fashion and design, sport, culture and flavors.
