Dacia renews Duster, new more powerful and efficient engines

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Dacia renews the Duster engine range with the aim of offering more power, greater driving pleasure and less CO2 emissions, without sacrificing one of the historical strengths of the model: the affordable price. The update affects all major versions and strengthens the brand’s electrification path.

The most important news is the new Hybrid 155, which replaces Hybrid 140. Already adopted on Bigster, this system combines a four-cylinder petrol engine from 109 horses to two electric units and a 1.4 kWh battery, with automatic electrified transmission.

Due to the regenerative braking, the Duster can travel around the city up to 80% of the time in completely electric mode. Combined consumption starts from 4.6 liters per 100 kilometers, with CO2 emissions from 105 grams per kilometer, improving compared to the previous generation. The starting price is set at 26.650 euro.

Next to the hybrid full hybrid, Mild Hybrid 140 also debuts, taking the place of the Mild Hybrid 130. This version guarantees combined consumption from 5.4 liters per 100 kilometers and a reduction of emissions of about 10% compared to gasoline engines of equal power. The list starts from 23.150 euros.

Dacia also reinforces the GPL proposal with the new Eco-G 120, more powerful than 20 horses than the previous version. The double 50-litre tank allows a range of up to 1,380 kilometres, keeping the luggage capacity unchanged. CO2 emissions are less than 10% compared to equivalent petrol engines, while consumption is 7.5 litres per 100 km in GPL mode. The price remains one of the most competitive of the segment, with price starting from 19.990 euros and deliveries previewed from the first trimester 2026.

The novelties under the hood are accompanied by small product updates: new combinations for the interior in the Journey version, lumbar adjustment for the driver’s seat and new black alloy wheels for Extreme setup. Hybrid versions also introduce the Adaptive Cruise Control series on Journey and available in option on Extreme.

With a range of four motorizations that comply with EU6e bis, Dacia Duster consolidates its position as a practical, efficient and accessible SUV, capable of responding to the needs of an audience increasingly attentive to consumption and sustainability.
