Parma beats 2-1 Verona in the rescue clash, decides Pellegrino in recovery

PARMA (ITALPRESS) – In spite of the numerical superiority for almost the whole game, Parma di Cuesta folds the Hellas Verona only at 93′. At the Tardini, the 2-1 final launches the Ducal towards salvation and makes the veins increasingly sink towards the retrocession. After the networks in the first time of Bernabè and Harroui (on rigor), in full recovery Pellegrino thinks to blow up the joy of the home audience. From the eleventh minute, guests played in ten, following the severe expulsion of Orban. Parma afternoon starts immediately with the right foot. In fact, four minutes pass and the hosts are already in advantage: from a recovery of Keita, the ball arrives in Bernabé that controls, raises it and kicks to the flight from the limit, finding the low angle and beating Montipò for 1-0. For Verona things are further complicated at 11′, when Pairetto extracts direct red for Orban. The Nigerian attacker goes on all the furies for a failed midfield foul and his stizza gesture is flat: it is not lawful to know what Orban yelled, but Nichelino’s whistle did not hesitate in the decision. In the first time the parades of Montipò keep the guests afloat. On the fractional final, however, an ingenuity of Circati returns the match in parity. The Australian-italo, in fact, at the 41′ Bowie stretches in the area, giving a rigour to Verona, until that moment totally harmless in the offensive area. From the Harroui disk spy Corvi and sign 1-1.

Numerical superiority inevitably forces Parma to take the reins of operations. The attacks of the Ducals are rather legible against a Verona that defends itself with a low block: in the penalty area there are many crosses, but Pellegrino is well marked by the opponents. At 71′ then it is Strefezza to touch the overtaking goal, inventing a right turn that however breaks on the cross. Parma proves them all and in the final siege, in full recovery, emerges precisely Pellegrino, impalpable until that moment. At 93′ the Argentine bomber stands in the area and head deviates the cross of Nicolussi Caviglia. The 2-1 final rewards, therefore, the Parma that makes a sprint decided in the salvation zone. Cuesta’s training climbs to 12th place, at 29 points. It is not enough, however, to Verona a heroic performance: the boys of Sammarco remain penultimi.
