MOSCA (RUSSIA) (ITALPRESS) – Russian citizens have challenged the authorities by gathering hundreds at the tomb of the opponent Aleksey Navalny, who died on February 16 of two years ago in a Siberian penal colony. According to Telegram sources, the area of the Borisovskoje cemetery in Moscow was guarded until early morning by police officers and special bodies. According to the site Meduza the mother of Navalny, Lyudmila, and her mother-in-law Alla Abrosimova, were seen next to the tomb of the opponent. Representatives of several European diplomatic missions also went to the cemetery to honor Navalny’s memory.
A joint declaration of the United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Germany and the Netherlands has also reiterated that the analyses on the body of the dissident reveal the presence of epibatidine, a toxic substance derived from the “arrow rams”, a type of invertebrate originating in Ecuador. Every accusation of involvement in Navalny’s death was rejected today by the Kremlin. “We strongly reject the charges. We believe it is partial and completely unfounded”, said the journalists the spokesman of the Kremlin, Dmitrij Peskov.
