BUDAPEST (UNGHERIA) (ITALPRESS) – The United States wants the end of the war in Ukraine but do not intend “to impose agreements on anyone”. The US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, declared this from Budapest at the end of a meeting with Hungarian Premier Viktor Orban. “We do not try to impose on anyone an agreement that does not want to accept,” he said. The Secretary of State has specified that the U.S. are “the only ones” able to sit the parts in question at the same table.
A new round of talks between Russia, the US and Ukraine will take place on 17 and 18 February in Geneva, according to what was announced recently by the spokesman of the Kremlin, Dmitrij Peskov. The Russian delegation will be led by Vladimir Medinsky, assistant of the Russian President. The first trilateral consultations between Russia, Ukraine and the United States took place on 23 and 24 January in Abu Dhabi, while on 4 and 5 February the second round of talks took place in Abu Dhabi.
