ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The 19th edition of the Innovation Award was held in Rome, Leonardo’s initiative that enhances and rewards innovative projects proposed by its people, contributing to consolidate a culture of widespread innovation. The 2025 edition closed with numbers that testify to an unprecedented participation: about 1,000 proposals collected, articulated in six thematic areas, among which stand out the 380 new innovative ideas, which recorded the largest number of projects presented. Over 3,000 participants and 100 research fellows involved in the initiative.
Compared to the previous edition, there is an increase of 107 proposals and about 700 participants. Six award-winning projects, selected for the high innovative content and impact on business, capable of translating ideas and skills into concrete solutions to support the competitiveness and development of the company.
Roberto Cingolani, Ad and CEO of Leonardo, during the event stressed that “it is necessary to have full awareness that the scenario has changed and is characterized by great unpredictability and rapidity of evolution. Global security is today a necessary condition, the compass that directs our industrial choice.”.
