FIRENZE (ITALPRESS) – After the arrest of an investigator, investigations continue on the murder of a woman in the former CNR area of Scandicci, in the province of Florence. The Carabinieri have found the beheaded corpse of the victim, a 44-year-old German homeless, inside the abandoned area “ex CNR” in via Galilei. The alarm was triggered as a result of a citizen’s reporting.
The investigating departments of the Carabinieri of the Company of Scandicci and the Investment Nucleus of Florence for the reliefs, supported by the use of drones for the safety of the area, initially presided over by a free dog. The investigations allowed several finds to be seized, including a machete and a knife with ethical traces, found in the immediate vicinity of the body. A man, already known to law enforcement and currently admitted into a hospital under surveillance, is seriously suspected of the crime. A number of traces of blood were found on the suspect’s garments, traced just before the discovery in agitation. The Prosecutor of Florence coordinates the activities aimed at reconstructing the exact dynamics of the murder.
